Completely crapped out on me. App gives me an error message and Alexa wont play anything. Worthless.

What happened to Alexa and the app? The app does not work at all now. Alexa wont play any music. She can still turn my lights on and off so I know shes connected to Internet.
Slow response, skill search and tabs are a hit or miss to load. Interaction between second party apps needs improvement
Got the Amazon Echo out of the box, plugged it in, and every time I open the app it states 500 internal error. Returning this junk tomorrow!!
The app is simply unavailable. A lot. Nothing to do with the internet connection, which is fine. I spoke to someone on the help line and he told me they experience the same phenomenon with the Echo in their office. Fix it, People!
Downloaded to test and review the Amazon Tap and the app opened, and immediately went to an internal server error 500! Crashing is no way to start a relationship! Siri is kicking Alexas butt...By MILES.
This app is so bad that I am willing to rebuild your app for you, free of charge, just so I dont have to ever look at this again.
Keep loosing connectivity and so confused, a lot of work to increase your echo sales
Ive only used this app for about a week, but its asked me to sign in to my Amazon account 3 times after the initial sign in. Thats annoying. Other than that the app is okay. Its a little clunky, but the echo is designed to be controlled by voice not app.
Wow Amazon. What happened? Not well laid out. Half the features when I go to use them tell me "not supported. It basically lets me look at previous questions Ive asked, or a shopping list Alexa made for me. Other than that, nothing else seems to " be supported ". Please work out the bugs. Weve gotten pretty used to Alexa and she works great. Since weve had her weve noticed its cloud system is actually getting smarter. But, this app is not working.
This app doesnt stay online all of the time so for instance, if I want to turn my echo down quickly from another room, I have to quit the app, sometimes sign back in then turn it down. The interface if the app also seems kinda old.
Aside from the intermittent unexplained failures... I do have one feature request: For those of us with large smart home setups, it would really be appreciated if the app allowed for better management of groups. If manual sorting/arrangement is too hard, perhaps auto-sorting alpha-numerically. Or at the very least, by order added. Instead of presenting the groups in a random order every time a new sign-in occurs.
Way too buggy, I cant even log in! Tried both phone and iPad. Guess I cant setup my new echo dot. Super cool paperweight.
Doesnt work on iOS devices, cant connect and glitches out so you get nothing but a splash screen. Had to set up my dot through my laptop. Pretty disappointed it took me going to 3 different devices to even get it up and running at all.
Hey Amazon, this thing is great but the app has some issues. Its a bit clunky, and slow compared to the echo. Also why oh why do I need to re -enter my password every 10 minutes! Make it like your shopping app PLEASE!!!
Got the echo last week and had planned to set it up this past weekend, when I had time to deal with hassles. Particularly I was concerned about this app, having read negative reviews. The weekend got away from me, as it often does, and I was kicking myself this morning, thinking I wouldnt have time until next week. However, I had downloaded the app, so I decided to just plug in the echo and at least see what I might have to deal with. Within 3 minutes I was listening to Amazon Prime music and checking out the weather. Im not sure why others had trouble; and admittedly that was all I had time to try, so maybe I will encounter more problems later. But I have to say, it takes longer for me to pick out clothes for the day than it took me to get the app and echo going. So for ease of set up alone, Im giving it the full 5 stars.
Cant even log in. Bad.
App does not work properly and glitches a lot. You would think you could play music from tapping on history from home page but it just shows you what you listened too. Overall its a app for volume control when you are too far to turn it down and thats about it.
When listening to iHeart radio using Alexa it is not unusual to have to log in 3 or 4 times in 4 hours when there has been no interruption in service. This annoyance has made my decision not to expand Alexa with several speakers, Im going Bose.
Bought the Echo after all the rave reviews, and now cant get this crap to work! Dear Amazon, your Echo App is junk and now you refuse to listen to your user community!!! If your not listening to your users, what the hell you doing with all those billions?
